BBVA's Real Estate manages over 7 million documents in less than a year   

What business problem was solved by this solution?

Centralizing more than 125,600 real state records over one repository to increase the speed in search and retrieval from the valuation, promotions and management department applications. A real state file goes through at least 6 departments during its processing inside BBVA Real Estate. 

The total amount of documents is of over 7,000,000 and growing rapidly, at a rate of 300,000 documents per month, as some documents are created by applications as well as over 600 users. Medium file size of a document is of 260KB. Total amount of information is 1.820 TB.

What was deployed to meet the goals or objectives?

The high integration capability and scalability of Athento Enterprise combined with Nuxeo was crucial for this project.

A clustered version of Athento was implemented as an intermediary between the repository (Nuxeo) and the business applications used by departments such as Admissions, Management, Technical, Commercial and Legal.
